Terms of Service
These draft terms govern access to Spiritbound’s game, accounts, online services and optional paid features.
Eligibility
Spiritbound is intended for players aged 13 or older. If local law requires parent or guardian approval, that approval is required before creating a linked account or purchasing.
Accounts and Journeys
You are responsible for protecting recovery codes and access to linked providers. Accounts, paid entitlements and Journeys are non-transferable unless Spiritbound provides an official transfer mechanism. Do not share, sell or trade account access.
Fair play and acceptable use
Do not exploit, automate, interfere with, reverse engineer for abuse, impersonate others, harass players, publish unlawful material, evade restrictions or attempt unauthorised access. Spiritbound may investigate integrity signals and restrict online features where reasonably necessary to protect players and the service.
Saves and availability
Local saving and exported save files remain the player’s responsibility. Cloud Save is a convenience and recovery feature, not a guarantee against every loss. Features, balancing and availability may change as Spiritbound develops; material changes will be communicated where practical.
Paid features
Spiritbound Expanded is intended as an optional account upgrade. Live purchases will be processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Price, currency, taxes and final order terms are shown by Paddle before purchase. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including Australian Consumer Law rights where applicable.
Content and intellectual property
Spiritbound and its original game content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. A personal, limited, non-exclusive and revocable licence is granted to play the game under these terms. Feedback may be used to improve Spiritbound without an obligation to compensate the contributor.
Termination and deletion
You may stop using Spiritbound or delete your Online Account. Spiritbound may suspend or terminate online access for serious or repeated breaches, security risk, fraud or legal requirements, using proportionate action where reasonably possible.
Governing law and contact
These draft terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, subject to any mandatory rights that apply in your location. Questions can be sent through the Support page.
